Team Pimentel – Elevating, Baby!

Some projects arrive with a clear brief. Others arrive with energy so contagious that you know immediately — this one is going to be something special.

Team Pimentel was the second kind.

The Client

Team Pimentel is a Latina-led, people-focused real estate team serving Northern Lake County, Illinois and Southern Wisconsin — a powerhouse group of agents led by Alyssa Pimentel with over 20 years of combined experience, 600+ units sold, and more than $155 million in sales.

They're not just realtors. They're community builders. Their tagline says it all: Latina-Led. People-Focused. Property-Educated.

When Alyssa reached out, she was riding the momentum of her team's growth — a lineup of talented, motivated women ready to step into something bigger and make sure Lake County knew exactly who they were.

Her energy coming in was infectious. Her exact words captured it perfectly: "HGTV, we're ready for you!"

The Project

This wasn't a single deliverable — it was a full visual identity package.

We created a bold team intro video for their new website, and we also sat down individually with members of the team to capture personal bio videos — each agent sharing who they are, what drives them, and why they love serving buyers and sellers in their community. Those bio videos now live on the Team Pimentel website, giving potential clients a way to meet each agent before they ever make a phone call.

That combination — a high-energy team film plus personal agent profiles — gives Team Pimentel something most real estate websites don't have: personality at every level. Visitors don't just see a list of agents. They meet people they already feel like they know.

The Creative Shift

I came into the shoot with direction in mind — ready to capture the team's confidence and presence in a polished, professional way.

But it wasn't until afterward that Alyssa had an idea that changed everything: "What if we edited this like a reality show?"

That suggestion completely shifted how I saw the project. And it came out amazing.

It also taught me a valuable lesson — one that changed how I work ever since: the importance of consulting with clients before filming, so their vision and my approach can align from the very start. That project was a turning point in how I guide creative direction today. Now that conversation always happens before the camera comes out.

The Result

Together we created a team intro that doesn't just say "we're realtors" but shouts: "We're Team Pimentel, and we're elevating!"

Paired with individual bio videos for each agent, the full package gives their website exactly what it needed — energy, warmth, and the kind of authentic human presence that makes a potential client think "yes, I want to work with them."

Lesson Learned

Collaboration sparks the best ideas. Sometimes the client sees an angle you never imagined — and those moments shape not just the project, but the way you work going forward.

I'm grateful for the trust Team Pimentel placed in MindFlix and proud that we delivered exactly what they envisioned. Great storytelling isn't about the camera — it's about capturing heart, energy, and identity.
